Crossed Swords Game Review
Here is a review for the Neo Geo CD video game, Crossed Swords:
Score: 6 out of 10
The hack ‘n slash genre was a short lived gaming trend in the very early 1990’s that didn’t really take off due to the fact the games were terribly boring. Crossed Swords, though absolutely the greatest hack ‘n slash game ever created, gets to be a redundant and at times annoying game because it executes the hack ‘n slash formula perfectly. Graphics are very nice and the music is exceptionally good at some points, but battling wave after wave of enemies for six levels becomes mind numbing. For the two of you out there that truly dig this genre, I highly recommend this game. For hardcore Neo Geo CD collectors, you’ll find some short term fun here, and everyone else will be greatly disappointed. As for load times, not an issue, it loads once at the beginning at that’s it.
